Day 2       21 Dec 2001 Fri (Day 3)       Day 4

Went for snorkel hopping with Justine. 3 stops, all open water. 1st stop Manta Point. I was about to discover my one and only regret for this trip of not bringing a disposable camera in a ziploc. A few minutes after we got into the water we saw one of em Mr Big. It was one of the most awesome things I have seen. A while later, another one. And just when everyone was about to board the speed boat again, we saw 2 together. AWESOME !!! They looked so majestic, slowly flapping their wings as they glided thro the water. It was like they were dancing for us. For a while thought they were about to ascend but nope. So I took a big gulp of air and tried to do some free-diving. Just when I got close (these guys were huge, at least 3m in wingspan) I ran out of air and had to ascend, partially coz my head felt like it was abt to explode from the mask pressure. Not that deep. Abt 8 m or something like that.

The next 2 spots were no big deal. Saw a turtle swimming like mad away from us at the last spot. Afternoon. Went snorkelling with M again in the house reef. Tried Rangalifinolfu 1st. Nothing there but the water villas were so exclusive. Saw a black tip by the beach at the water villas too. Proceeded back to our side. Showed M the blue fin travalli and the black tip reef shark.

At night, they were showing Score (De Niro, Brando). M heard that it was bad so we watched Woman On Top (Penelope Cruz) in our villa on my laptop. Turned out that it wasn't that great either although it was quite entertaining.
